Barry and the Beachcombers were formed by Magic Booka and The Constable. Recruiting King Porter on drums they recorded some EPs and did a few shows. After a couple of years or so King Porter was tempted away from the band by the Metallic might of Dedlock. He was replaced by the mighty Rodpecker, drummer and arm- wrestling champion of the world. At the same time The Little Chap joined on bass, allowing Magic Booka to move to second guitar and The Beachcombers to make even more noise. Unfortunately The Little Chap was considered too scruffy to continue playing with Barry and the Beachcombers so left the band. He was Replaced by Michaelmas, who now plays keyboards. Rodpecker left and joined Beaver fuel. He was replaced by Lord Balch (who currently plays in Witches) who in turn was replaced by Rodpecker for one show, and then The Martian, who is currently drumming. Michaelmas moved to Keyborads so bass playing is by Old Ernie. Confused?
